How do I make a complaint?
If you would like to make a complaint, please call our office on 01473 252525 between 09:00 and 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Our staff will complete a complaints form and take all relevant details. This will then be passed to a manager for investigation, and we’ll come back to you within 28 days.
How can I book a taxi?
You can book your journey using our Cabssmart app, through our website booking form, or by calling 01473 888 888.
Bookings can be made instantly or in advance, giving you complete flexibility
Can I use the app anywhere in the UK?
Yes — the Cabssmart app allows you to book a cab anywhere in the UK, not just in Ipswich or Woodbridge.
Wherever you travel, we’ll connect you to a trusted licensed driver.
Can I book an airport transfer?
Absolutely. Our Airport Transfer Service covers all major UK airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Southend, and Norwich.
You can book a one-way or return journey, and our drivers will monitor your flight to ensure on-time pickups.

How far in advance should I book an airport transfer?
We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance for airport journeys to guarantee availability, especially for early-morning or long-distance transfers.
However, same-day bookings are often possible — simply call our office or use the app
What happens if my flight is delayed?
There’s no need to worry. Our system monitors live flight information, so if your flight is delayed, your driver will adjust their arrival time accordingly — at no extra charge.
Can I request a specific type of vehicle?
Yes — when booking, you can choose from standard saloons, executive cars, or minibuses (depending on your needs).
For special occasions or business travel, you can also request a chauffeur-driven vehicle by the hour or for a full day.
Do you cover areas outside of Woodbridge and Ipswich?
Yes. While we’re based in Suffolk, Cabssmart serves all surrounding towns and villages, including Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, and Colchester — and long-distance travel across the UK.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and app payments.
For business customers, account billing is also available — ideal for regular travel or staff transport.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time without any charges. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a fee.
Are there any additional charges for airport transfers?
Yes, we have fixed fares for all major airports. However, estate vehicles and dog-friendly vehicles carry a surcharge of £5.
Can I book a wheelchair accessible vehicle in advance?
Unfortunately, wheelchair accessible vehicles can only be booked on the day required due to high demand. No advance bookings are accepted.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, contactless card payments in the vehicle, and card payments over the telephone or via our app.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer competitive fixed fares to all major airports. For other journeys, please contact us directly for any available discounts or promotions.
